RepClose helps sellers of technical products decide which companies to approach and who to talk to there. This page says what we collect about the people we suggest, where it comes from, how long we keep it, and how to be left out.
What we show about people
Work information only: name, job title, employer, how long they've been in the role, past employers, public work posts from the last 90 days, public GitHub activity in their employer's projects, and, when a seller asks for it and pays for it, a work email address. We never collect home addresses, personal emails, phone numbers, photos, family, health, politics or anything else about anyone's private life.
Where it comes from
- Public search results for professional profiles, read through a web search engine. We don't log in to any site and don't use fake accounts.
- Data vendors who sell work profiles and work emails.
- Companies' own public pages: their websites, job boards, status pages, GitHub organisations, filings and news.
Who sees it
Only the seller who ran the research sees its results. We don't sell or publish the data.
How long we keep it
Research results, including everything about people, are deleted 365 days after they were made. We keep a record that the research happened (for billing), without its contents.
Leave me out
If you'd rather never be suggested to sellers, use the opt-out form. It takes effect right away: you're dropped from new research and hidden from results already made.
